Michele Borchew is a Chicago native. She comes from a small family with big hearts. She has a deep passion to infuse humanity and compassion into an often merciless system.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law, and Justice at the University of Illinois - Chicago, she went on to pursue her juris doctor. Michele’s only goal when setting her sights on law school was to be a criminal defense attorney.

During law school Michele was a law clerk in the Homicide Task Force in Chicago’s Cook County Public Defender’s Office and she worked on appeals for those sentenced to death while clerking with Mississippi’s Office of Post Conviction Counsel.

After law school, Michele joined the Miami Public Defender’s Office, where her trial skills and acumen was sharpened. Thereafter she was an associate with the trial attorneys of Rier Jordan, PA. In 2023, she ventured out on her own to fulfill her version of advocacy with BORCHEW LAW, PLLC.

Michele puts 100% into every case. There will be no stone left unturned. She understands that this can be the most difficult time of a person’s life - for the accused and their loved ones. Through educating her clients and walking them through the process, she hopes to bring some calm in the storm.
